The Ajile 3D camera is designed to support a wide variety of applications. Including robotic guidance, general quality control and metrology-grade inspection. The system has the flexibility to capture accurate high-resolution full color point clouds as well as the ability to collect 3D images of moving objects.

The DepthScan captures 4 million color 3D points in full-resolution mode in 400 ms (2.5 Hz max). Synchronous output with capture - the point cloud is available immediately for analysis.

Does Depthscan integrate with 3rd party inspection software tools?
Yes, Ajile's 3D software suite is compatible with other platforms. Plugins are available in many cases, allowing users to operate the Depthscan from within those applications as well.

Do you support ROS?
Yes, ROS is supported. Integration support is available upon request, or users may wish to do their own integration using the Ajile 3D SDK.

How can the inspection process be automated?
Ajile's process flow software enables quick setup for repeated processes. Over 100 process nodes are available, including steps for capture, filtering, processing, and analysis.

Which Depthscan model is recommended for my imaging conditions?
The Depthscan is a variable working distance system capable of imaging targets from 25cm to 500cm. If multiple working distances are needed, the autofocus version is recommended.

What are the Depthscan's eye safety requirements?
The Depthscan is an LED-based structured light system, and does not use lasers which would require googles, screens, or glasses.

Does the software require an internet connection to run?
No, the Ajile 3D GUI and SDK are software installations which do not require a cloud connection.
